It was exceptionally clean and quiet, the staff was knowledgeable, and the location can't be beat! The laundry services were easy to use (coin op, 90 TWD total), and the breakfast vouchers were a nice touch. Free water, coffee, tea, and the place was well-designed and again, quiet. I was able to take a work call from my room without worrying about wifi or waking up a neighbor.

Located in the centre of Taichung, Modern Inn is situated less than 1 km from Taichung Railway Station and 3.2 km from National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts. Great location near Taichung Station. The staff didn’t speak much English but were friendly and helpful, room was very clean and stylish. The 9th floor lobby/bar looked nice, though we didn’t sit there. Overall good value for money!
