I hesitate to write this b/c I selfishly want to prevent this home from getting too popular. 😂 This property is beyond wonderful. Honestly, the photos actually don’t do it justice. The quaint and charming details of a historic home are around every corner, and a guest’s every need has been thought of by the owner Frank. Perfectly decorated, the home offers lots of space, and the renovated bathrooms are huge by medieval-Europe standards. The town itself is like a dream, transporting back to the context of Pinocchio or Beauty & the Beast. We hiked from this home in Hunawihr to the famous Riquewihr through the beautiful vineyards, which is a slightly more challenging path than expected but worth every effort.

Zellenberg is a great base to visit many Alsatian villages and it has much to offer itself. The accommodation has been in center of that and had all that we need to feel the atmosphere of a small village of wine producers. This was our sixth time staying with Yannick., and our fourth time in the Riesling apartment. This time, we stayed for our 20th wedding anniversary, and we came because we needed to bring our dogs. Yannick is very dog friendly, and as it turned out, we pretty much had the place to ourselves during our stay. Riesling is a spacious apartment, close to the center, and offers everything we need. We love Ribeauville, because it isn’t far from where we live, but offers a beautiful change of scenery. Yannick is a great host, and we are proud to recommend him.
