The Merchant’s House is a wonderful newly refurbished hotel in Old Perithia, a semi abandoned and quaint village full of charm. The location of the hotel is stunning, with 4-5 Greek tavernas nearby to have dinner at night. The hotel is an old building fully refurbished and very well decorated and the rooms are huge, very comfortable and super quiet at night. Special mention to the wonderful breakfast with fresh fruits and lots of local products (honey, jams, etc...). Our whole stay was absolutely perfect and Marieke and David were the best of hosts! They are always willing to give nice indications and pieces of advice. The day we left we had to check out very early in the morning and they even prepared us a great breakfast to go!The surrounding are is great for hiking (walking down the village on your own early in the morning is a MUST) and the closest beaches are barely 15 min away. Very easy to park nearby and the check in process is very smooth. I can't recommend more this hotel, we'll come back for sure!

The apartment is in a beautiful bay, it's clean and the hosts are so lovely! We had the best food of the whole trip in their restaurant downstairs! Highly recommend.

At the guest house, most of the rooms have a balcony. At Terpsichore Boutique Appartments rooms are fitted with air conditioning and a private bathroom. Our main goal was to discover Corfu. The place is near bus line 7, we could get easily to Sidari (north), Paleokastritsa (west) and the capital from here with buses in the 3 days we had. The room was clean, air conditioned and with the information provided we were able to avoid risky meals and eat at the best places. Great value for our money.

We liked everything, the rooms were clean and the staff was really polite and the pool was a really great feature!

You can play billiards and watch satellite TV. In the village you can find traditional taverns, cafeterias, bars, ATM and a supermarket. Everyone was friendly and helpful, the location is very peaceful, although situated outside of Pelekas, it is only a 10 minute walk to the centre. Food was very good and a big breakfast, enough to keep you going for the day. Facilities were spotless, and comfortable.

Car hire is available at this guest house and the area is popular for fishing. Corfu International Airport is 40 km away. When we arrived, there was cold water and juices in the fridge, coffee and tea to welcome us, a very good move by the owner. The room was cleaned every day, there is a toaster and a jug of hot water for coffee.

Lively, kind and guides you to explore the best of Corfu. We had a wonderful and memorable time. Highly recommend this place to all travellers.

The location is really great - with easy access to the port, Kassiopi castle(must visit to watch fantastic sunsets), and roads to beaches. And the best Kassiopi view from the terrasse - awesome!!!
