The room was clean and spacious with beautifully styled decor and ample amenities. We had an overview of town and vineyards from the private balcony, which was also perfect for stargazing at night! It was located in a charming and quiet small town with immediate access to vineyards and hiking trails, which was a nice change for us because we had been staying in big cities for the previous nights. We had our breakfast on the balcony and it was a wonderful experience. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and included a cupcake for my boyfriend’s birthday per my special request for the host. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. I fell and got myself injured on a hike and they provided me with bandages even though it was after business hours.

The hosts went to alot of trouble to make guests feel welcome. Everything was explained well and we were shown over the property on arrival. We had a Suite which was very comfortable with bedroom, lounge room and small kitchen. There were many facilities offered at this B & B including a cabana with furniture in the garden, a sauna and spa, a billiard table and an area for bocce. The hostess, Virginie, is an excellent cook and provided wonderful breakfasts. Our host, Eric, was on hand to explain everything in English as we do not speak french. There was a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere at this excellent B & B.

The site is in an incredibly nice forest which surrounds the area. In the morning you wake up of birdsong and the babble of the nearby stream. The room is very clean and nice however not too big. You can use the garden as well and have the very delicious breakfast outside., Our hoste was very friendly and helpful. I can just recommand the place if you want some calm in the nature in a nice Alsacien farmhouse.
