This place was fabulous! It is so clean, stylish, the rooms are beautiful, beds are comfortable, and they serve yummy drinks and food. We drove from Lagos to be closer to the Faro airport for our departure the next day. It is a 5 min drive to the airport, which was so convenient. The most perfect stop. We would stay here again for sure. Staff were great and friendly as well, and parking was easy.

Faro is the picturesque capital of the Algarve region, offering colourful streets and buildings, Moorish influence, and typical Portuguese charm. It is encompassed by the lagoon of Ria Formosa Natural Park, and offers wide beaches, a laid-back atmosphere, and a vibrant nightlife.
Occupied by Phoenicians and Carthaginians, and once an important Roman harbour and Moorish culture capital, it was almost flattened by the 1755 earthquake. Happily, the historic centre survived and is today one of best preserved in Algarve. Choosing a hotel in Faro’s Old Town will allow you to have a more authentic Portuguese experience.
The long, sandy beach of Praia de Faro is 7 km from the city, and the beach on Barreta Island –also known as Deserta - is probably the most tranquil in the region. Hotels near the beach in Faro and the surrounding towns of Olhão, Tavira, Quinta do Lago, Quarteira and Vilamoura, are all excellent ways to enjoy sunny Portugal.
Faro International Airport offers connections throughout Europe, and the city also offers ferry, railway, and bus links. Whether you need a beach resort or a hotel near Faro Airport, check out the wide offer available on Booking.com!

This is my second visit to Faro, first time staying in a hostel, It was very clean & tidy, other travellers were very respectful and kind. I visited a variety of restaurants and cafe's. Food that I ate varied from sandwiches and omelettes to seared salmon with salad, all very tasteful and delicious. All very clean, toilets in vicinity, very friendly locals, lots of ATM's to obtain local currency. Local beaches beautiful , stunning views. I saw lots of taxis, not many buses, although I wasn't looking out for them very much.
Highly recommend a visit.

Small and friendly. Easy to get around. Fabulous boat trip option.
Very relaxing and reasonably priced. 10 minutes from airport.
No accessible toilets, other than in hotels. Town requires more ramps into shops etc for wheelchair access.

Friendly people.
Friendly people. Lots of great restaurants and great food reasonably priced. Not much to see in the city. Small streets and lot of cars with no place to park. Hard walking city due to unlevel streets and sidewalks with cobblestone type surfaces. Not a level sidewalk in the city. The fish, the beer, the wine, the people were great.

Faro is a city of contrasts, old and new, pretty streets, graffiti in places, derelict buildings amongst the habitable ones. Tourist spots like the marina area, shopping streets, old city were great and the food and drink venues plentiful, good quality and fair pricing. Markets, street entertainment and craft fairs were everywhere during our visit. Visits to historical buildings were only a few euros per person and children often free. There seemed to be ample car parking, much of it free, and public transport was plentiful. Many operators provided sightseeing boat trips and there are regular ferries to the beaches. Nowhere in Faro escapes the airport traffic but you soon get used to it. The public parks were well maintained.

EASY TO GET ROUND, PLENTY OF SHOPS AND RESTAURANTS, WITH VERY PLEASANT STAFF/WORKERS. ENJOYED THE WALK AROUND THE OLD TOWN. WORTH A WALK UP TO THE MUNICIPAL MARKET AS THE RANGE OF FRESH FISH AND VEG IS FACINATING. THE BIG SHOPPING CENTRE IS ALSO WORTH A VISIT, GREAT RANGE OF SHOPS AND PLACES TO EAT AND BEING PARTLY IN THE OPEN AIR, VERY PLEASANT ON A HOT DAY

Lovely friendly accommodating people (all the locals).
Lovely friendly accommodating people (all the locals). The graffiti is artwork in most cases, I was informed it's used to mark abandoned/derelict buildings.
Can be a little disorientating in the old town, but it is beautiful.
Traffic can be a little busy around rush hour, if you are not used to city driving and some of the roads can be a bit uneven around the old town, so I'd advise don't drive through Old Town in a sports car.
We stayed in Faro for four nights, extending our stay two nights in this wonderful place. A refurbished old villa in the center of town offers the old-time charm of Portugal paired with modern amenities. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is a large kitchen area, a patio and a common area with a piano and a very coold 19th century safe. The proprietors however are the main reason this place rules: Pedro and Paolo are top notch people and very helpful in every way! We can only recommend.
Arguably 1 of the best hostels in Algarve, and if it's the best in the region then it will have to be the best in Portugal, and Portugal is a worldwide tourist destination leader... Concluding...
So @Jonathan you and your team really know what you are doing here at @sunlover's hostel in #albufeira that makes people prefer to stay in your hostel instead of a hotel or apartment. Keep up the good work.
There're no strangers just a bunch of people you haven't met yet.
The apartment is right on the beach facing the ocean and the view is amazing. The location was just perfect.
It's extremely easy to access from the airport with the No 16 bus, dropping you off at the bridge of Praia de Faro, after that it's only a 5 mins walk to the apartment.
Catarina who manages the property is very contactable by what's app and is always at the end of the phone. She is amazing. Thanks Catarina for making our stay so perfect!
Breakfast = disaster.... few salami with cold eggs and bacon with terrible coffee
Kind of 4 star hotel and you are forced to stay in the basement with mouldy curtains and broken furniture, just terrible.
No good restaurants around just a few poor quality eateries
If you decide to stay there just rent a car and go somewhere else where you can feel real Portugal
Location to Faro Airport, cleanliness and the beds were super comfortable. It’s a new renovation and it’s been very tastefully done.
Breakfast was great 👍
If you are staying for the night and looking for dinner ask them to tell you about their family run restaurant called O Rui .. fresh fish on the beach and it was very very good 😊
Never been in a Hotel with such amazing bed so lovely I wise I could have taken it home with me . Only stayed one night but when we go to Portugal next time we will stay at this hotel. Staff were amazing very helpful food was very good drinks good a fair price barman nice man . Pool very good water warm we enjoyed are stay there
Excellent breakfast selection, both cooked and fresh fruit. Fantastic roof terrace with the best views in Faro, perfect for an afternoon sundowner watching the sunset. Really friendly staff, would recommend this hotel for couples, probably not ideally suited for children, very central location right next to the old town area.
Helpful and friendly hosts who supplied every need. Spacious and well cared for apartments tastefully converted giving a sense of openness and space. Ideally located in the old centre of Faro with all amenities nearby. Faro itself with its international airport a perfect introduction to a trip around Portugal.
Rooms We booked this hotel because it has a 4 star rating after being disappointed in the original booking in Faro Portugal. It is lovely with great, helpful and kind Staff. We were able to get some supper in the snack bar. Also, because it is in a newer part of Faro it had plenty of free parking
The "boutique" hotel is very well situated in the centre of Faro, in the vicinity of historical sites. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The breakfast, for additional fee is average. There is popular restaurant on the premises which we did not experience.
I liked everything I saw!
I needed to close to the Airport!
It was just perfect, very clean line location !
Awesome costumer service! They above and beyond to costumers in whatever needed!.
I recommend to everyone who a good hotel in Faro.
Location was great for me particularly because I only had one day between my two flights and it was just 10 minutes walk from the airports, while still being in driving range (10-15 minutes) of the beach and the Faro City.
The staff is friendly and check-in fast. The location is convenient, close to the airport and Faro beach. The room is clean and has everything you need for a short stay. I would not book this hotel for a long stay.
3HB Faro is hands down one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. the staff are helpful and welcoming, the property is gorgeous and very clean, and you couldn’t ask for a better location. I was sad to leave!
I really enjoyed staying at the Faro Clara. I had an amazing rooftop suite, and the hotel was very well situated. I would highly recommend it. Rute was incredibly helpful, clearly exceeding expectations.
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, best breakfast in a long time, location was excellent, beautiful views from our room, hotel is right in the centre of Faro, lovely relaxing few days
I loved this place. Everything was so clean, so comfy, so nice. The staff was very friendly and profesional. I really liked this place, one of my now favorite hotels in Portugal and Spain
I really like this hotel for its perfect location and a the roof-top pool as I love Faro and as a result I have stayed at Hotel Eva perhaps more than 7 or 8 times
