Cooked breakfast was good - tasty and hot, as it should be. Dinner in the bar was excellent, with a nice choice and too quality food. Very friendly and efficient waiting staff. The front door is directly on to the main street, and the back door faces the railway station.

The restaurants and nightlife were excellent considering the size of Pitlochry. Reasonable range of shops, not too tacky. Found accommodation relatively expensive compared to cities ie Glasgow, Dundee and on a par with Edinburgh.

Beautiful and friendly.
Beautiful and friendly. The village is lovely with a good choice of bars, cafes and restaurants. There are great walks and excellent opportunities for cycling.
There are some interesting shops too and if you're into tweed, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
EV charging is supplied by Charge Scotland - get the app and open an account to make it work. There is a selection of fast and rapid chargers on-site at the train/bus station.
Overall, you get a lovely calming feeling as you walk around.

We first visited Pitlochry in autumn 2019 - it was delightful then - it’s now spring 2024 - just as enjoyable, not a lot has changed. The main shopping precinct is busy with bus tours and particularly with tourists over the weekend - early mornings are best to get a seat in a coffee shop . To beat the crowds, take the suspension bridge across Tummel River to the Port-na-Craig area - the stone cottages and pub by the river bank is a tranquil area to enjoy. Continue along the walking path to the ‘salmon ladder’ and beyond to Faskally Wood or much further to the Killiecrankie Visitors Centre.
Just had a lovely weekend at the Craigvrack Hotel. It’s a nice family run hotel the rooms are comfortable, clean and the staff are excellent. Breakfast was lovely and well organised during the COVID restrictions. Nice outside seating are to have a drink from the bar in the sunshine. Location is up a hill but not too far from the Main Street of Pitlochry.
With private parking and a warm welcome this was a one night stay for us on our motorcycle tour of Scotland. Rooms were clean and comfortable albeit right at the top of the hotel.
Breakfast was average and functional compared to others we had whilst on tour.

The hotel is very comfortable and well situated in Pitlochry. We had a very good dog friendly room with a large king sized bed and excellent en-suite shower. Our dog was able to sleep in an entrance area which was separate from the bedroom.
From our welcome to Hotel then lovely clean accommodation Excellent Dinner & Breakfast could not fault anything Staff were very friendly & fantastic service throughout our stay Would recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting Pitlochry.
The staff made the stay good! The hotel is very pretty and overall cleanliness was great. Fantastic if you are travelling with dogs plenty places to walk them and they can be with you in the restaurant/bar
Loved the hosts, the setting, their home and fabulous breakfast. Pitlochry is a charming Scottish town worthy of a visit and a stay at the Derrybeg B & B was a highlight of our trip.
First night of arrival in Scotland. Short walk to downtown with lots of food choices. Staff kind and helpful. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Good breakfast.
