The location of the Hotel was Central. The room was great, spacious and clean. I would have liked a better selection of Hot food like bacon for example. The cold buffet was good.

Hotel's staff was fluent in English. Huge plus in my book, because according to my experience so far it is a rare thing. Parking in front of the hotel was easy. Breakfast was delicious and diverse. Rooms were clean and comortable, bathroom clean and spacious. 10/10 would visit again.

Beautiful town. 7 lakes + Old Town.
You can both go sightseeing, then go swimming, then rent a boat.
Did I mention forests? They are great too.
Add ok public transport to the mix, and You have great place for slow, relaxing vacations.

We stayed in Olztyn for one night only as a stop-over during a long car trip. We enjoyed the town as it was very cozy, the locals were friendly and the restaurant we ate at was very nice. I would visit Olztyn for 2-3 days again.

Nice, small Polish city.
Nice, small Polish city. Some interesting buildings - easy to walk around and get where I needed to go. People I spoke to were ok though you need to try some Polish (same throughout the country which is fine). Poland is what you expect.

Olsztyn is an historic town whose history, like so much of Eastern Europe, is complicated. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring and learning - and relaxing of course ( in summer there is a town beach to use). Public transport is cheap and easy (make sure you have the jakdojade app on your phone - big help). We ate in different restaurants from Polish (with a fish specialty because of the region) to Greek and Indian - they were all excellent.
Now we have "done" the town we would look to explore the surrounding area.

Summer time on the beach. So many lakes to choose from. But Miejska beach have most to offer and its on the biggest lake. Bike routes around city's forests. "Ges i zajac" is serving great goose dishes at main street of Old Town. End of May "Kortowiada" 3-4 nights of parties at Kortowo, students part of city. Beach parties and more.
Olsztyn is for active ppl. Will say couples 20-30 y o.
During winter try "Bojery" Ice Yacht Racing if you dare on Ukiel Lake.

Olsztyn's a very nice city - not too big, not soo small, with all the amenities one needs. Everything is in fairly short walking distance if you stay in the Old Town or elsewhere in the center. Attractive Old Town full of restaurants and cafes. Lots of nice, interesting buildings outside the Old Town too - the city is an architectural feast. Beautiful park along the Lyna river next to the Castle. Długie lake is also very nice - there's a path going around it. Also check out the interesting shows at the Planetarium. (Tip: if you're staying in the Old Town and come by train, use Olsztyn Zachodni station - it's a short walk.)
The hotel was modern, clean, and comfortable. I had a wonderful room with great windows for a lot of cool air. The kitchen wa fully equipped, it even had some free food like cereal, coffee, sugar, tea, etc. A lot of hotels with kitchenettes don't have that, so I appreciated it.
There was even a washing machine and a coffee maker! The owner was very helpful, made sure my bicycle was safe and helped me any way he could. I will definitely stay here again if I'm ever in Olsztyn.
Breakfast was good but not many options for vegetarians, i had to have omlette every morning. They could switch it up sometimes or over the weekend. The location is amazing, parking is convenient and the room size was nice. The prices at the hotel are also decent. Nice beach outside.
everything was perfect :) nice staff, very clean and beautiful rooms, also we were surprised by so tasty (and free) coffe Lavazza! Quiet place, but so close to Olsztyn - just what we needed to have a rest after long and hard day.
We will definitely come here again🔥
Great hotel, location and personnel. Kids were especially excited with the family room which consisted of two adjacent rooms and they had normal beds (not a sofa) a bathroom and a TV of their own. Clean, quiet and right next to planetarium. Perfect stay!
Beautiful, modern apartment set in a quiet neighborhood. Ideal location for walks around the lake. Walking distance to top restaurants in hotels Tiffi, Przystań and an Indian restaurant at the rowing club. The host welcomed us with a bottle of wine!
Interior design, smallest detail was thought about. Ive visited so many hotels - and none of them could compete with Apartment Las - which feels instantly like home! I would highly recommend and will visit again
The apartment is next door to the bakery, an amazing choice for breakfast/supper. The place is super new, clean and very comfortable. I wished there was a cafe nearby but the closest was downtown Olsztyn.
Spacious, comfortable, small garden, excellent and friendly service. Highly recommended.
The apartment belongs to a small hotel “Pensjonat u Jacka” with a very good restaurant too.
It had everything I would have expected in a good hotel 10 years ago. It was clean, well looked after, the staff were friendly and efficient. The public spaces were good.
