Really friendly welcome and a free upgrade to a sea view room which was such a nice surprise. Room was clean and comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge. Very comfy bed we both slept very well.
Owners are very friendly and helped with restaurant recommendations and let us use a bottle opener for our wine.
Breakfast choice was great and the full English a very good standard. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to Newquay. Thankyou so much!

The location, the room, the decor everything was perfect. According to me it is one of the prettiest hotel in Newquay. It’s located right next to the beach, the market is 10 mins away and even the major bus stops are just right next to it. I stayed in a single occupancy room and thought it might be small but it exceeded my expectations. The room was beautiful and big enough for one person plus the bathroom was amazing too. If I travel to newquay I’ll stay here again for sure. Plus the receptionist was very helpful and told me about the nearby restaurants.
Overlooking Fistral Beach, this stylish Victorian hotel features a Five Bubble rated spa, surf school, approach golf course and a wonderful sea-view terrace.

Newquay has that laidback feel that goes hand in hand with being England’s undisputed surfing capital. The centre of the action is Fistral Beach whose swells and Cribbar Reef produce some of the largest breakers in the British Isles. The long, sandy beach is backed by tall dunes which give way to Newquay Golf Club.
Great Western Beach lies below sheer cliffs one street from the train station, while Towan Beach by the picturesque harbour is the closest to the town centre. Tolcarne Beach is sheltered in its own bay, as is the wide stretch of sand at Porth Beach whose northern coastline is 2 rocky headlands joined by a narrow footbridge over the sea.
Each beach is overlooked by luxury hotels with spas, cheap hostels and self-catering apartments on Booking.com. All are surrounded by Newquay’s restaurants, bars and clubs which offer the best nightlife this side of Bristol.
More leisurely pursuits include Trerice manor house in the countryside near the Lappa Valley Steam Railway. Buccaneer Bay and the Blue Reef Aquarium are popular with families, as are Waterworld and Newquay Zoo within Trenance Gardens.
Another favoured spot for a walk are the salt marshes by the River Gannel which is a prominent sight as you descend into Newquay Cornwall Airport.

The best thing about Newquay for me is the magnificent coastline of dramatic cliffs, rock pinnacles and sandy beaches - unsurpassed for a seaside town I have been to in my 75 years. For drivers the town is badly signposted but this is typical throughout Cornwall. I was hoping for more live music events but it seems the last week in April is not the time for these. I thought the Irish Bar next to the Victoria Hotel, frankly, grim. Not much else to say that makes this town much different from countless others in the UK.

If you go for service or a swim on a hot day, probably you will enjoy yourself. If you are on a city trip, you won't be pleased with Newquay and run away to atmospheric St. Ives. We didn't feel like it was a happy place, more of a Benidorm for flat beach entertainment. It is hard to find a nice place for a tea and scones. It is a bit derelict and has the feel of a lack of care. But that is common at many seaside resorts in the UK. A pretty view from the Aldi parking and further the only kind of highlight is the harbour. But you've seen that in a few minutes.

We enjoyed Newquay.
We enjoyed Newquay. It was much improved since our last visit in the summer several years ago when it was very hard to avoid drunken teenagers. We were less impressed with the amount of dog mess on all the pavements.

We are an older couple in our sixties, so Newquay maybe does...
We are an older couple in our sixties, so Newquay maybe does not hold the same appeal to us, as to a younger couple with kids, but, it was certainly a great base for exploring Cornwall.
We have to say that we did feel a little intimidated by some of the 'locals' around the train station. but that might just be an age thing.
The beaches and shoreline was very clean and well kept, and loved watching the surfers.
We were given a room upgrade by the super-friendly owner. We had already read about how spotless the hotel is, but its no exageration. We had a lovely and vey spacious room, overlooking a church, with views over the sea and the town. There are so many good things to say about the place; there was free fruit and (very reasonably-priced - only 50p) water bottles available on the way out. There is an amazing games room and a bar if it rains. Location is a very short walk down to the town centre. I can't recommend this hotel enough.
Great week away we usually stay in a hotel around the area but decided on an apartment this time for flexibility and cooking and this apartment was perfect and very spacious bigger than I had expected. In all the years we have travelled to Cornwall this was one of the worst weather wise so again the ability to come back to the apartment and chill out hot bath worked perfectly for us. Guaranteed parking a great bonus as parking in newquay can be challenging at busy times.
Would definitely stay here again.
Everything about Longbeach was amazing. the location was perfect so close to the beach and town centre. The rooms were just what we needed and the price was so good.
on top of that the drinks prices were ridiculously cheap and by far the cheapest in Newquay.
Andrew was a phenomenal host and provided us with lots of info on the area and walking routes to take. He was always there to help out and chat to.
Couldn’t recommend this place any more!
The location was superb, just in the heart of the tourist area with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The beach was 5 min walk from the hotel. If you're lucky, you may get a seaview room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Tried to give us comfort as much as possible. We got a roadside room which was kind of a busy road but the noise wasn't that extreme. The bed was comfy. Overall we had a very nice time.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, particularly in the restaurant, where they made good recommendations for food and drink choices to suit my needs. The hotel and spa are simply wonderful, with excellent facilities. I was lucky enough to have the spa to myself in the evening and early morning and to be able to sit in the hydropool and look out over the sea was heavenly.
The rooms we had were beautiful. We had the best views of Newquay beaches and harbour. The hotel is very clean and well maintained and has beautiful furnishings and art work - lots of Art Nouveau paintings. The location is excellent - few minutes walk to Fistral Beach and the town centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be staying here again.
I reached the hotel earlier from the time that I could do the "check-in" and they were so kind and told me that they can prepare the room and I can go earlier. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast (you pay extra 10) had a buffet and many options. The location was near to an extraordinary view and not far from the city centre.
Really nice staff. Megga clean room 131. Next to lift. Right on seafront near everything. Buffet breakfast . It's a nice hotel but very very 80s. I would go back think it could also be a touch cheaper. For 230 I was expecting a Seaview room however would definitely go back.
A comfortable, modern and well appointed unit, having lovely views of the valley. The site is quiet and peaceful but still close to the beaches and Newquay, and has facilities such as a restaurant, bar and swimming pool. The hosts were hospitable and helpfull.
property in a nice quiet location, private parking area just behind the hotel with drop off point at the front. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast good quality. Easy 20 minute walk into the centre of Newquay and 5 minute to Fistral Beach.
Newquay Beach Hotel is right opposite the beach. We had a room with a balcony and sea view, which was beautiful. The staff were all really lovely, welcoming, chatty, and helpful. The hotel was really clean, with lovely decor.
Very child friendly hotel! Many facilities for kids such as soft play, outdoor playground and the pool, but also nice extras such as games, books, teddy bear to keep and even milk & cookies for bed time.
Ideal location from Newquay town centre and only a short distance walk from bus station. Breakfast was really nice and the hosts were absolutely lovely! I would highly recommend.
Amazing location right on the beach which didn't get busy due to its location and lack of parking, ideal for hotel guests which does have reserved parking for you
