The location was very good with the train station alongside parking available just a minute walk away, and the main beach across the main road going the other way.
The room with an en suite bathroom was generally clean as well.

The staff were super-friendly, even to the extent of the owner checking in on us at breakfast. Food delicious and hotel delightfully lost in time; not everyone’s cup of tea, but definitely ours.

The property was really awesome. It’s so spacious and I really like the arcade machine game consoles that were there. We really enjoyed it. Another things is the sunset view that we’ve witness in the master’s bedroom. And of course, the jacuzzi *chef’s kiss* perfect!!! We would definitely come back!!

Everything, very clean, comfortable, welcoming, definitely felt like a home from home. Host was amazing. Helped us with all travel and tourist spots. Really cared for our safety and amazing breakfast. Will deffo come back next time.
Margate is a traditional English seaside resort. Sadly it is a bit tired in parts. Lovely beaches and good access to buses and trains to other parts of Kent. Shell grotto worth a visit in Margate. Whitstable, Canterbury and Broadstairs nice places to go to not far away.

Was nice to reminisce over a previous stay years ago.
Margate like many other coastal towns suffers from a lack of investment and some of the oldest and most interesting properties are closed and boarded up.

Haven't visited Margete in over 20 years and was pleasantly surprised. The beach was lovely and sandy, with an actual sauna on the beach and some activities for kids, was nice to watch the yachts sailing around the little harbour, plenty of amusement arcades Nice little market in the old town, mainly craft/clothing items. Plenty of good places to eat/drink. Pete's fish and chips was lovely. Also ate at The Sundowners (LGBT) bar (which has a terrace overlooking the sea) and food was lovely there too! Margate is bustling with life and great for a day out or longer if you fancy!!

Didn’t like Margate as much as Ramsgate not many pubs there, the only decent place is the mechanical elephant other places were expensive bars which were not my scene no karaoke venues like Ramsgate, just like Guildford the rodboro buildings in the centre and very few pubs in a big town which are all spread out of the town instead of being in the centre, it’s one of those towns with more tea places and diners and less pubs in the towns, can’t beat my number one town Reading in Friar street.
We came for the Margate Soul Festival so the hotel was well located to the main venues. We were able to find free parking for the 3 days which also helped. Our room (8) with sea view was very comfortable, tastefully decorated and clean. The only small niggle was that the toilet flush was fiddly to use. The staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the cooked breakfast for the last 2 days which we thought was good value compared to the breakfast we ate in town on our first morning.
Totally loved it. It was a gem of a place - so central and oh so Boho….had everything you need and bonus spare room for
When the snoring kicked in (sea air!?)
Property had so many features - kitchen (we only needed the toaster are out most of the time) everything is there that you need - cooker; microwave; dishwasher; et etc etc.
I absolutely fell in love with Margate ❤️
Also big thumbs up to Sunetra who was so responsive in her communications.
Great location! The Beetroot is a gem in every way from its funky courtyard which is a haven of calm to the care and creative flair that has been put into every room. We booked out 3 of the 4 rooms and loved all of them. Paul has done a fantastic job creating this boutique style hotel which encapsulates Margate's artistic and quirky side. He was also an extremely friendly and helpful host.
Great position for the event that I was attending on Margate beach (The Mall Beach Races). Having parking for the van was important for me and they have several spaces at the hotel and also on the street outside it that are available. A good 'old fashioned' guest house with very friendly and accommodating owners. Thank you.
Lovely apartment, and the snacks were appreciated, as well as the coffee.
Bed was wonderfully comfortable.
Great location - facilities on the doorstep and easy to walk into Margate, and along the coast path too (nice cafe with view at St Mildreds)
Good communication
Cracking wee place, great bar down the stairs and super fun, flirty staff. I think I'll be back next time I've an excuse to go to Margate.
Oh wait, the breakfast is AMAZING. I forgot that. I wasn't expecting much but it was all top quality stuff. Best sausage ever.
The hotel is a magical place, with so many wonderful thi gs to see. It's like stepping back in time but with every comfort of the modern day. Staff were all so kind and friendly, and the breakfast was divine! Beat hotel I've stayed in in Margate by a long shot xx
We loved the warm welcome we received. The location is great. The rooms and whole hotel is clean and tidy. The bed was extremely comfy. Breakfast was very good. We will stay here again when we visit margate, thank you.
The hotel was in a nice quiet area of town away from most of the holiday makers but still easy to get to the old town. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and a decent size.
so far only four rooms are finished in this vegan hotel . Set in a pretty courtyard with a fish pond and masses of plants . My room was a suite newly finished to the highest standard . l recommend staying here .
Location for looking around the Margate and local coast line, and the cost was half of other hotels, but it reflected in the amenities. Double room , double bed with on suite. TV and tea n coffee facilities.
Breakfast was really good with fresh fruit, delicious scrambled eggs and loads of other options. This is a charming hotel with lots of character and it has been well maintained. Would highly recommend.
Host was very accommodating. We were allowed to leave our suitcases within the building before and after check in. Very close to Margate sands and town. TV was an added bonus
Such a great hotel and great, friendly staff. Superb breakfast. Nice touches in the bedroom with snacks, drinks, robes and slippers. Loved the Margate Bingo 🤣
Great location, just a mile way from the hustle and bustle of Margate. A little parade of shops is not far away if you need anything. Host were super friendly.
No frills and basic but good value. Location isn't too far from the main Margate beach (20min walk). Staff were friendly and check-in/check-out was easy.
