Burstow is a small village near to Gatwick Airport - close enough, but not so that one is bothered by aircraft noise. It is an ideal place for a night's stay before travelling from the airport, being about a fifteen to twenty minute drive away. The staff were friendly but the food was appalling and room was very shabby. The sheets were clean but no tea available & the coffee machine not working. Left before breakfast service and no alternative offered. Don’t go there.

We were attending a family gathering.
We were attending a family gathering. Travel to & from the venue was straight forward & there were a number of local places to stop & visit. The food at the accommodation was so good that we continued to utilise & eat there. Plenty of other restaurants nearby though.

Considering we are in a difficult time with the coronavirus, Staff at the Curious Pig in the Parlour made us very welcome, especially our receptionist. She made our stay perfect, anything I asked for she helped us. We decided to eat our evening meal in the hotel, we had our car with us but decided not to go out in the evening. Although we had not originally booked a table for our evening meal, the staff they made sure we could get a table. We decided to eat outside in the gardens. The food was exceptional, we decided to eat there again the second night. We are definitely planning to go back.
