The hotel is very nice, with attention to detail, and the garden is well-maintained and very spacious. The owners are very nice people and careful with the guests. The pool is very clean with a nice bar fully equipped, nearby. We really enjoyed our stay here. Tip for other guests: Close to the hotel is a store with diverse manufactured local products in the area, from pottery to honey, wine, jewelry, and more.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the property which had a lovely garden and was extremely quiet and private - just what we wanted. We felt a little like hobbits given the nature of the property with its solid walls and curved ceilings but the property was very well equipped and full of interesting decorations. We would certainly stay there again if in the area.

Lovely house in a good location - private and quiet but close to village and supermarket. The house has completely been renovated and has everything you need. The terraces and swimming pool are a wonderful place to relax after a day of hiking or cycling. Julien and Sabrina are very pleasant and welcoming hosts.

We had a wonderful time at this place. The little studio is kept in a modern style with traditional details featuring a fully equipped kitchen.
We especially enjoyed the pool area with an outdoor kitchen and a grill, overlooking the beautiful nature. Even though it is set out in the nowhere, there are several charming villages close by. Nathalie and her husband were great hosts who made us and our little dog feel very welcome. We look forward to come back soon.

Though breakfast was basic on some Mediterranean or US standards - it was very much on the expected level of a a high-end French establishment - and was good, seemed fresh, tasty and satisfactory.
Location is really great if you don't mind driving - as it's about a 1 hour drive both from the villages to the west (Gordes, Sault etc.) and from the lake to the east, and about 30 mins from the Lavender fields of Valensole.
Mane is fully equipped in spite of the fact it is very close...
Mane is fully equipped in spite of the fact it is very close to Forcalquier. The small town has a superb bio grocery store (central square), a butcher, a post office, etc. There is nearby the Salagon museum (former monastery). I didn't have a car, and I walked around for the ten days I was there. The more I walked, the more I discovered walk paths all around.
My friend and I had a wonderful welcome at this family run hotel. The rooms are all beautifully furnished, with really comfortable beds and everything you could need. Breakfast was delicious, and the pool area is well laid out. We arrived mid-afternoon on a Sunday, too late for lunch and too early for dinner, and were treated to a plate of canapes with a perfectly chilled bottle of rose by the pool. The hotel is ideally placed for exploring the area, which is beautiful. Absolutely nothing to fault.
Myriam was the perfect host. She greeted us warmly, left us goodies for our first breakfast, made sure everything was set for us and checked back several times with us to make sure we didn't need anything. The house is absolutely charming, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook meals from breakfast to dinner. The town of Mane is quiet, lovely and has a wonderful boulangerie and small grocery store. A perfect stay
Very friendly people run the hotel. The location is in walking distance of the famous Salagon Abbaye.
A wonderful bridge (early medieval) is just behind the hotel. Enough parking space.
The breakfast was super with home made jam, pâté from a local butcher and local cheese- amazing!
Room was comfortable and a kettle to prepare the first morning drink in the room.
Did not use the pool but it was still open and heated!
Sabrina is the super host; she accommodated our last-minute booking, helped us find a place for dinner, and was ready to help when we asked for it. The location is very close to the center of the town. There is a playground and a swimming pool. The back terrace is really nice, and you can see a beautiful view of the town. Mane is a really cute town; if you are in the area, I would really recommend staying here.

Everything was perfect for us and for our dog! Nathalie and Pierre were always very helpful and kind. We really liked the breakfast and loved eating outside with a magnificent view on the sunset. We will definitly go back to Le Sens des Merveilles. Mane and Forcalquier are both beautiful places to stay/to visit.
Everything is absolutely perfect. The hotel has been renovated from the historical church that's so amazing. We have received a very warm welcome. The hotel staff are always friendly and courteous. They serve the great breakfast choices.
Wonderful location, welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts, tastefully decorated rooms, excellent location with spectacular view and meticuously-kept garden.
Would be happy to return.
