Wonderfull eccentric hotel , only slight problem finding out ware to bool in and gain access to hotel, not made clear enough
The hotel is set in a lovely medieval Spanish village. The owner was so accommodating and helpful. Room was comfortable, slightly basic, with comfortable beds. We had breakfast outside in the morning. Wonderful breakfast with Spanish omelette, choices of hams and cheese, breads, cake and biscuits. It was a really lovely selection, great coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. We will definitely stay again when travelling back up to Santander.
Fantastic family run hotel in a beautiful village, Carmen was a wonderful host, hotel is everything as described, so relaxing in the garden, delicious breakfast, really great value for money. By far the best accomodation in our 2 week holiday through France and spain. The village itself is a shot walk and a delight with history and a few nice bars/restaurants. I highly recommended this hotel and will surely come back one day
Very motivated couple runs this hotel in the heart of Covarrubias. In the village it was very quiet on a Monday in late November. We did not see any other guests in the hotel either. Owner is a pleasant man who can give you useful tips for your stay. There is free parking outside the village within walking distance.
Friendly and attentive host, hotel on edge of town with attractive interior and garden. Only 5 minutes walk from village center with restaurants and bars and wonderful old 17th century buildings. Self service coffee etc in reception area at no extra charge
Very nice hotel and location. The hotel manager was very welcoming. The hotel is on the edge of the town so it is quiet, but this also means it has parking and is close to the countryside. I was cycling so I liked the secure bike storage
The Hotel Rural has a great location overlooking a quiet plaza near the town wall which is skirted by the river. A great place to stay while visiting this very pretty old town of Covarrubias a Bonitos de España.
