We picked this place bc it’s close to best snorkeling/ kayaking place in Big Island and is at a good price for this location. We’re really happy that we bumped into this gem. The room is clean with plenty of sunlight and great natural ventilation. The room got everything we need, microwave, small oven, fridge, etc. Showers are nice and warm. The porch has great view to the garden and a little bit of the ocean. During the night, we laid down on the parking lot and watched the sky. So beautiful. Stanley, the host, greeted us upon our arrival. He’s an amazing person. He took us to a tour to Meana Kea summit with much lower cost comparing to other tours. Super comfortable and private ride with hot KONA coffee to help with the altitude climate up at the summit. We didn’t have breakfast but Stanley offered a few complimentary exotic fruits grown at the farm. Super fresh. Before booking I read about the frog sound other people talked about, to us it sounds ok. The B&B is in a fantastic location, a very quick walk into town, but with the ocean literally on your doorstep. Our beautiful room backed right on the ocean and it was wonderful going to sleep with the sounds of waves. Every morning the cooked breakfast was delicious, and we really appreciated the useful shelves in the B&B filled with snacks, useful pamphlets, bug spray and sunscreen. Our hosts were very friendly and gave fantastic recommendations on things to see and do during our stay in Hilo. We would highly recommend a stay here!
