Kilauea House is set in Volcano, 18 km from Kilauea, 45 km from Pana'ewa Rainforest Zoo, as well as 49 km from University of Hawaii, Hilo. Perfectly located a short drive from the national park entrance. The hosts were lovely and gave us local tips (one of them is a ranger at the national park). The room was so carefully appointed and the breakfast was fantastic, with so much food and a great variety. The garden outside the room was lovely too.

Located in Keaau, 20 km from Lava Tree State Monument, Ocean Breeze Inn provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities. Close to the beach. And very quite.

Boasting a balcony with sea views, a private beach area and water sports facilities, Ma'ukele Lodge can be found in Pahoa, close to Kaimu Beach and 21 km from Lava Tree State Monument. The hosts were absolutely wonderful. The room is rustic, but a great way to experience Island life. This was an unexpectedly wonderful jewel. Breakfasts were fabulous.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Coffee Garden is set in Captain Cook, 6.9 km from Kealakekua Bay State Historical Park and 7.4 km from Kealakekua Bay. The hosts were so nice and welcoming. I immediately felt very comfortable. The place is very relaxing, the view from the studio with huge glass doors was amazing out to the beautiful garden with many different colorful pretty flowers with the ocean on the horizon. I loved the very tasty fruits from the huge garden and sitting on the porch to enjoy the tranquil surroundings. I can very much recommend this place. Especially if you want to unwind.

Iao Valley Inn features river views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Wailuku, 3.2 km from Iao Valley State Park. Wonderful location, in one of the most beautiful parts of Maui. So much nicer than staying in a resort hotel. So peaceful - just the sound of the river and birds - with fabulous views, a comfortable room and delicious breakfasts left on our own patio/fridge for the next day. One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed.

We loved our stay here! The room was spotless and Tomami cleaned it every day while we were out. Hand made breakfast was also included which we got to eat in a small breakfast nook with ocean views. This B and B was paradise.

Situated just outside of Hakalau, 20 km from Hilo, Mahana House Country Inn is a non-smoking property and features ocean views, free WiFi access, and free private parking. The view from the lanai to the ocean!

Located within 1.7 km of Rainbow Falls and 3.8 km of Lyman Museum & Mission House in Hilo, Old Hawaiian Bed and Breakfast provides accommodation with seating area. Amazing breakfast on the veranda, nice and attentive staff, comfortable and clean room, close location to some of Hilo’s waterfalls.

Situated in Kailua-Kona and only 8.9 km from Kaloko-Honokohau National Historic Park, Hale Hualalai features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. I've never rated 10 a B&B nor an hotel, but this time everything was perfectly amazing: location with outstanding view, a very cozy big room, the homemade breakfast with products taken directly from the farm, even the noise of the nocturnal animals (it induces sleep!). Ricky and Irine are very kind and nice hosts, and provide you lots of info about the island. Definitely a 10 to me!

Hale-Hoola B & B is located in Captain Cook. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a patio and a seating area. Breakfast was great! Patio with awesome view. Felt like paradise. Great location, but it is important that you have a car. We really enjoyed our stay!
