Momotaro House, a property with a shared lounge, is located in Bodh Gaya, 2.1 km from Mahabodhi Temple, 1.5 km from Thai Monastery, as well as 1.8 km from Great Buddha Statue. We had a great experience at Momotaro House. The hosts were very friendly and hospitable. When we came the host offered us excellent Japanese tea. It was so relaxing and quiet in the middle of intensity of travelling in India. The guesthouse was very clean, and mosquito nets were provided, also washing mashine was there. Apart from the rooms, and kitchen, there was an extra living room, with very large balkony, which created homely and cosy atmosphere. Arigatou🙏

I was suppose to stay for 2 nights and stayed for 5 . Very clean and welcoming rooms, the family will make you feel at home and help with whatever you may need and always with a smile. I wouldn’t go anywhere else in Bodhgaya! ( bonus fact, they mange a school for some kids in need. Your money will serve good purposes )

Excellent in terms of cleanliness and hygiene. The provide an electric kettle in the room . Bed sheets were very clean sufficient room space. Staff behaviour was very good and very prompt.

The room was spacious, clean and had a great balcony to sun bathe in the morning. If you want to visit Karmapa temple, this is the best place to stay, since it's literally on the other side of the street. The best though is the hosts. Gaurav and Godson are very good people, very friendly and will help you with anything you need. We felt very welcomed and accomodated. Highly recomend.
