They did a wonderful job refurbishing this country pub. We had a quirky yet modern and characterful room with plenty of sockets for phones and such. Breakfast and dinner were very good and the Inn is a short 1.7 mile walk to the amazing sights at Stourhead.

The host couldn’t have been more welcoming and eager to provide for our needs. The beds were super comfy and the bathrooms were excellent with lots of water pressure in the showers.

The owners were very welcoming on arrival, the bedroom was lovely, the bathroom was superb and so well equipped with toiletries. Tea, coffee, biscuits and even sugared almonds were on the drinks tray along with fresh milk and bottled water in the fridge. There were bathrobes in the wardrobe along with cushions for the outside chairs on the balcony. Breakfast was excellent with so many choices of cereals, fresh & dried fruits, cooked breakfast or smoked salmon.
