Lovely big big room and bed, a nice sofa and 2 comfortable arm chairs. Excellent shower and bathroom. Good bookshelf. Excellent breakfast, also excellent cooked breakfast. Lovely owner. Lots of parking

Harbour House ligt in Ullapool, en heeft een tuin. Dit pension biedt bagageopslag en gratis WiFi. In de privébadkamer vindt u een bad of een douche. we loved our stay in the Loch Cabin. it was modern, spacey, spotless clean. the view was magnificent, straight to the Barbour. excellent location and a good breakfast. note: while the property policy mentioned in booking.com says kids 3 years old and up are welcome, and the same is noted in the reservation approval, this is not the case for the loch cabins which are apparently for 2 adults only without possibility to accommodate any kids not even with additional fee. we arrived with a 5 year old and it was a bit of a shock to learn that we might no be able to check in. thankfully Alan the owner agreed (after some convincing) to let us check in with our kid. this was an exception (thanks Alan for the extra understanding and flexibility here) - so just sharing this important detail for those of you with kids.

The staff was nice and helpful. Also, the room was very clean and the mattress really comfortable. The lounge room was cozy. Last but not least, the breakfast buffet was really rich.

Brambles of Inveraray ligt in Inveraray, op minder dan 1 km van Inveraray Castle, en biedt een tuin, rookvrije kamers, en gratis WiFi. Deze herberg met 4 sterren biedt een 24-uursreceptie. We loved our stay of 2 nights in the Garden suite! Simply amazing! When we arrived we had a very nice warm welcome of Victoria, one of the owners of Brambles of Inverary. The Garden suite is just lovely! Amazing comfortable beds and sofa in front of the tv. My compliments to the housekeeper who specially arranged the stuffed animals of my daughter on her bed when we came back in our room. This totally made her feel really special. Brambles had their own restaurant and coffee café accross the street. In their restaurant they serve during the day nice lunches including amazing pastries and cakes. I was personally in heaven with 1 of their specialties, the blue berry lemon curd cake with lemon frosting. It's a good thing for my health that I do not live here haha. The first night we also had dinner at the restaurant of Brambles. This was also really excellent. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. This restaurant is nice for any kind of group. In the morning we had breakfast at Brambles which was included. You could choose something cooked from the menu and you were able to take anything you wanted from the counter. Like croissants, cereals or juices. We had Eggs Benedict, very tasty! Brambles is located at the main street of Inverary. Within 10 minutes walk of the Inverary castle and 1 minute walk of the Inverary Jail. Both I definitely recommend to visit! In the area there are also really nice hikes you can do for example go up the mountain 250 metres high to the look out point of Dun Na Cuaiche. Trust me it's worth it! The view at Inverary and Loch Fyne is breahttaking! Next time if Inverary is on our route, we will again book our stay with Brambles!

Atholl Villa Guest House ligt in het centrum van Pitlochry en is een particulier Victoriaans gebouw met uitzicht op Ben Vrackie. Clean, comfortable and great location. Parking onsite. Very friendly owner.

Dit 4-sterrenpension ligt aan de rand van Loch Lomond en op 30 minuten rijden van Glasgow en de luchthaven. Het pension beschikt over een stevig Schots ontbijt en gratis WiFi. There were so many things I loved about this guesthouse - great location - helpful and kind staff - delicious breakfast - comfortable, clean room - comfy bed and pillows - private bathroom - homely feel, with nice decor Wish I could've stayed longer

The Waterfront ligt op slechts een steenworp afstand van de haven en de jachthaven van Anstruther en biedt uitzicht over de Firth of Forth. I loved the courtyard to have a nice glad of wine after a day of travel. The breakfast was top notch (eggs Benedict on a croissant with smoked salmon) . my group loved walking the Fife path to the flag hill park and finding sea glass and pottery shards on the beach at low tide
