Set in Ullapool, Harbour House has a garden. This guest house offers luggage storage space and free WiFi. The private bathroom is fitted with a bath or shower. we loved our stay in the Loch Cabin. it was modern, spacey, spotless clean. the view was magnificent, straight to the Barbour. excellent location and a good breakfast. note: while the property policy mentioned in booking.com says kids 3 years old and up are welcome, and the same is noted in the reservation approval, this is not the case for the loch cabins which are apparently for 2 adults only without possibility to accommodate any kids not even with additional fee. we arrived with a 5 year old and it was a bit of a shock to learn that we might no be able to check in. thankfully Alan the owner agreed (after some convincing) to let us check in with our kid. this was an exception (thanks Alan for the extra understanding and flexibility here) - so just sharing this important detail for those of you with kids.

Set in Pitlochry, 5 km from Killiecrankie, Westlands of Pitlochry has a garden. This 4-star bed and breakfast offers free WiFi. The bed and breakfast provides a shared lounge. The staff was nice and helpful. Also, the room was very clean and the mattress really comfortable. The lounge room was cozy. Last but not least, the breakfast buffet was really rich.

Built in 1895, The Townhouse Aberfeldy sits on the edge of Aberfeldy’s town centre, a rural town in Highland Pethshire. Loved everything! We were in the Studio Apt at ground level. It was very convenient and super easy on the knees. Autos passing by could be heard but nothing to complain about. The full and extra large kitchen was our interest since we wanted a few nights to simply relax and prepare our own dinners. A very large and easy entry parking lot directly behind the building was just perfect. A Co-Op super market is only a block opposite the hotel-very convenient! Breakfast was delicious and the staff very helpful and kind. When in Aberfeldy again, we will definitely return and can highly recommend it without any hesitation.

Located in Inveraray and within less than 1 km of Inveraray Castle, Brambles of Inveraray features a garden, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. This 4-star inn offers a 24-hour front desk. We loved our stay of 2 nights in the Garden suite! Simply amazing! When we arrived we had a very nice warm welcome of Victoria, one of the owners of Brambles of Inverary. The Garden suite is just lovely! Amazing comfortable beds and sofa in front of the tv. My compliments to the housekeeper who specially arranged the stuffed animals of my daughter on her bed when we came back in our room. This totally made her feel really special. Brambles had their own restaurant and coffee café accross the street. In their restaurant they serve during the day nice lunches including amazing pastries and cakes. I was personally in heaven with 1 of their specialties, the blue berry lemon curd cake with lemon frosting. It's a good thing for my health that I do not live here haha. The first night we also had dinner at the restaurant of Brambles. This was also really excellent. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. This restaurant is nice for any kind of group. In the morning we had breakfast at Brambles which was included. You could choose something cooked from the menu and you were able to take anything you wanted from the counter. Like croissants, cereals or juices. We had Eggs Benedict, very tasty! Brambles is located at the main street of Inverary. Within 10 minutes walk of the Inverary castle and 1 minute walk of the Inverary Jail. Both I definitely recommend to visit! In the area there are also really nice hikes you can do for example go up the mountain 250 metres high to the look out point of Dun Na Cuaiche. Trust me it's worth it! The view at Inverary and Loch Fyne is breahttaking! Next time if Inverary is on our route, we will again book our stay with Brambles!

Situated in the town of Pitlochry, Atholl Villa Guest House is a privately owned Victorian building, offering views of Ben Vrackie. The staff were amazing! The room was huge and perfect for us as a family. It was so clean and bathroom was spotless and brand new! The breakfast was awesome. Wishe we had stayed longer. We will definitely be back.

On the edge of Loch Lomond and a 30-minute drive from Glasgow and its airport, this 4-star guest house has hearty Scottish breakfasts and free Wi-Fi. Comfortable, welcoming, relaxed, lovely all round. Great breakfast, best B&B in Balloch, hands down.
