Perfect experience, the owners are super friendly and communicative, great location if you want nature and quiet, also 10min drive from the beach or nearby mountain for hiking. Dogs are more than welcome and have huge green area to run around and play. Facilities are designed with great taste, common leasure/dinning area has nice atmosphere, cosy music playing next to a warm fireplace (in winter). Buffet breakfast was abundant and very tasty with big variety or local products, also the dinner/tapas was super nice. Highly recommended rural hotel where they make you feel like at home, we will definitely be returning

This restored 19th century house has 4 rooms. Each room at this bed and breakfast is air conditioned and is equipped with a flat-screen TV. Some rooms feature a seating area where you can relax. Rooms include views of town. Each room comes with a private bathroom. For your comfort, you will find free toiletries and a hairdryer. The hotel was exactly as we had hoped for; small, cozy, beautiful garden and a very good breakfast. The location is extremely central, and we were in no way bothered by the church bells. The staff was lovely. If you arrive by rental car there is free street parking in Calella de Palafrugell.

We felt that Masferran was the gem we had been looking for. Very friendly staff, great service and we felt at home as much as is possible when you are travelling. We can definitely recommend it and in fact we have already booked another stay. Great job!

All rooms have a private bathroom equipped with a bath or shower. Towels are provided. The location was great! The room is small, but having a balcony that faces the beach and fortress was the best. The ac unit kept the room cool on very hot days. The curtains made the room dark so we could sleep in during the morning. The old city is on the front door step as is the beach. The common fridge kept our drinking essentials chilled. We were there for 5 days on a budget interrail trip, but this was worth every euro even though it was compact. The staff was very helpful too.

The French border is also just 20 minutes' drive away. Hostal La Florida is a real gem. This was my second visit. Spotlessly clean and well maintained throughout. Good breakfast buffet which we ate in the garden area. Room was cleaned and tidied each morning.
