Just a 5-minute walk from Lake Tegernsee, this quietly located hotel in Bad Wiessee offers a beauty salon, free WiFi, and a scenic garden with terrace. the owner and staffs were so friendly, it felt like stay in home. the room was extremely clean, as well as the facilities. there was a nice garden with a great view from our room, which made it a perfect staycation. it was a short walk to reach the lake, and it was beautiful. the breakfast was nice as well, you can request cooked-egg and tea for hot meal. and as always, your breakfast will come with a great view.

Just 3 km from Lake Tegernsee, this family-run, Alpine-style hotel in Gmund offers free spa facilities, a traditional Bavarian restaurant with beer garden, and free WiFi. The owners added a unique touch to their Hotel with cosy decor, amazing homemade bread (delicious), fresh cheese, great fresh breakfast and dinner. The rooms were very cosy and clean. The bed was very comfy and cozy. Quite area. The location is not on the Tegernsee lake but very close by to drive or even hike (around 1h30min). We enjoyed our stay very much and will stay again for a longer time.

She identified all the things she thought we might enjoy and she was spot on.
