This hotel is faultless and it's a pity we were only staying for 2 nights. Our host Chris was very friendly and helpful and the whole atmosphere was relaxed. This small hotel is located in a quiet spot but only a very short stroll into Sarlat old town. Perfect! The drinks and snacks provided were a lovely touch and enjoying these on the communal sun terrace in the evening made our stay perfect. The breakfast was really nicely presented and good value for money. The room was large, clean and beautifully decorated. All in all this place is highly recommended, we'll certainly be back!

A very nice bedroom with private bathroom and very large and fully equipped shared kitchen-cum-living room, on the first floor of a large standalone house (with a separate entry) situated right on the fringe of the compact old quarter. Come for two days, stay for a week, because there is plenty to see in the area - don't miss Lascaux caves (replica v.4), castles, and absolutely fabulous Marqueyssac gardens (sitting on the top of a mountain) - all well-connected by a network of local buses! Note: you need to climb a little bit (say, five minutes) to reach the place from the very centre, but in return you have very nice views. :)

The restaurants of Sarlat can be reached on foot if you are willing to walk uphill for 20 to 25 minutes after dinner. Olivier and Naina have super tips for restaurants and sightseeing and do everything to make their guests' stay as pleasant as possible.
