Malta
One of the most charming places we stayed at during our 2-week road trip. I felt like we'd stepped back in time to early 20th century France. Very clean and well-equipped room with extremely comfortable beds, tea- and coffee-making facilities, excellent bathroom with a lovely view of the quaint cafe outside, and very accommodating receptionist.

The riviera card was amazing and gave us free travel in the area as well as lots of discounts. Vevey is a stunning place especially in summer and we were easy walking distance to the town and lake. The village is charming and quiet. The house is quirky and we enjoyed the individual film touches.

Good internet (had to work from the room the afternoon I arrived). Was in Vevey to attend Montreaux Jazz Festival. Free transport and only 5-10 minutes on the train to Montreaux. Would definitely stay here again. Nice buffet breakfast with plenty of options. Early check in was accommodated when requested (2 pm versus 4 pm).
