The Polaroid camera which was free to use gave us a few beautiful gems to hang on to. The French Press and courtesy pouch of coffee was a lovely touch. These were really personal touches that I loved. We were 5 - 10 mins late leaving and met the cleaner exiting. She was so nice to meet and say goodbye to. Location was great. Bus stops and Metro close by. Lime scooters can be used and takes you to Gran Via in about 8 mins. Retiro is close and if your not lazy the center is easy to walk in to. I would 100% stay here again if I am coming to Madrid, and would consider Bob W wherever I go.

The stuff was great and very helpful. Gave us late checkout and really cared about what we needed and asked for. Check in was fast.

Set in Madrid City Centre, just a 1-minute walk from the Royal Palace and 400 metres from Plaza Mayor Square, Oriente Palace offers apartments and rooms with free WiFi. Fantastic location a few metres from the Royal Palace and a few minutes walk to the Opera metro station. Very spacious apartment, with lots of character - and the bonus of excellent, modern kitchen equipment. Great to have dishwasher and washing machine, and a very large, functional drying rack. Staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful and as a bonus spoke excellent English. Reception staffed round the clock. Easy system for indicating if room should be cleaned on any particular day - no problem to have it done daily if required, which we didn't find necessary.
