The property was neat, roomy and comfortable and the shower worked really well. In the late afternoon the outside temperature had dropped, but the heating system had not come on. We phoned the contact number we had for the room, and the lady who we spoke to was in the building within 10 minutes to switch the heating on. Marvelous service!

River Cottage is a fabulous property to stay in. The owner obviously takes great care of the cottage, which was very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The decor and soft furnishings are beautiful which made it a great place to relax and unwind. We had a slight problem accessing the property (my fault for not reading the instructions properly) but Anita was very quick to respond and gave helpful advice. The ability to park two cars off road was also very welcome. Sadly we only stayed overnight, so didn’t have the opportunity to make the most of the facilities, but we will definitely be returning!

Bewdley is a wonderful little town, theres plenty of places to eat and drink. The walks along the river are beautiful and peaceful. There is plenty of little “ quirky” shops to have a look around plus a museum which is free to visit, overall it is a lovely place to visit & stay would highly recommend

We were only there for an overnight stay, but called into the town before we checked in. It is a lovely town with a fascinating museum and craft centre. We had a lovely meal at the Little Pack Horse pub, with fabulous pies, with a special 2 for 1 deal on a Wednesday night.

Bewdley is a nice little place, interesting museum and nice walking along the river. Buses to Kidderminster, Bridgenorth, Ludlow and Telford run through the town so easy to get around as parking in these places was troublesome. We ate at The Mud House in the evening which is good and reasonable.

We went for my husband’s birthday who is a steam train buff so he enjoyed the gala weekend
We chose to upgrade to have a room with a bath and a sofa, good decision
We overlooked the front of the building and it was so nice
All staff were friendly and nice and a good kitchen as well as all food was spot on!
The Clockhouse is a fabulous little place with few rooms hidden in a Fabulous location! It was Spotlessly clean with Fab decor throughout. Before our stay we received Really detailed clear check in instructions of how to enter property with codes and where to find keys to room. Room was fabulous, so cosy and looked like new. Little private courtyard at back of property and a free car space we were lucky enough to use as it was free!
We will definitely return here when back in Bewdley!! Highly recommend
The house was lovely, very well put together, clean, warm and welcoming. It is in a perfect location in Bewdley, this is my first time visiting this area and I have fallen in love with the charm of it.
I had a great night sleep, the beds and pillows are comfy and the towels lovely and soft.
There is information in the house with recommendations, we had a lovely Indian and then we popped into the pub on the way home where they had a live band. The locals were friendly and welcoming.
The room was warm and right temperature on arrival. Staff helpful polite and welcoming. Our room was over looking the river very nice. Added bonus of fresh milk plus bottled water still and sparkling in a fridge ( very quiet). The best bed ever even beat a premier inn bed.We didn't eat there on this occasion but have eaten here in previous visits to bewdley . Will definitely be using mug house for future stays .
Second time staying here, lovely place in the Centre of Bewdley, near to the main town centre.
Great for the Severn Valley Railway which is why we were visiting Bewdley.
I love this place, obviously the building is around 200 years old so the floorboards and stairs are a bit wonky, which I love.
The host has been great both times, with fresh milk and bread being left.
Everything at the Hotel, room food facilities but most of all the wonderfull team of Staff were exceptionally good. Such nice people who went the extra mile and had a great laugh with. You dont have enough stars for the staff at The George Hotel Thank you so much to you all, well done, regards Andy & Susie fletcher
Location was good as it was right on the river and in the centre of Bewdley.

The room was spacious. Bedding and towels were clean and the bed was comfy.
Good to have the option of a pass to park your car on one of the car parks.
This was a great location near the center of Bewdley. The apartment was spacious for 3 of us. The bathroom and kitchenette were nice and the apartment had the best selection of teas, coffees, and hot chocolates of any place ive stayed at. The directions and check in access were easy to follow.

The property was a lot more spacious than the photos show, very modern , clean and comfortable.Big garden area for dogs to run around .The hosts were very helpful and welcoming . We were very happy with our stay .Little touches like fresh bread and milk were left for us .
The apartment is a very nice size, clean, smelled nice, very well equipped, walkable to town centre, and the big attraction for us is that it had its own secure and free parking space, we would definitely stay there again
good location - handy for Bewdley and Stourport. plenty of free parking. room clean and tidy with plenty of storage space.
Good shower. Good quality tea and coffee in room plus biscuits. Powerful hairdryer.
Location and the parking arrangements while we stayed at the property. We were there as a group of older gentlemen visiting the SVR for the weekend and the property is located well for Bewdley Station.
The room was very comfortable and had beautiful views over the golf course. ⛳️
We only ate breakfast here but it was very good quality. If we are in the area again we'll definitely stay here
