A very pretty Church - a very busy main road with very fast traffic & it was late in the day so we didn’t venture very far! A few walks were visible from the road but walking bouts required on the day of our visit.

The staff very friendly , nice atmosphere in the pub, warm and cosy , nice open fires .
Would have preferred home made fries with our meal rather than frozen as the rest of the meal was a very good standard .
Toast in the morning ok but again packet bread rather than fresh un cut loaf, let it down for the standard of the pub .
Spent one night in the hotel, the pub downstairs serves very good quality food, better than the average pub, breakfast was extensive, and again a very good quality.
The room was comfortable, it was a bit warm but the air conditioning is very effective, outside there was a gentle hum from the air-conditioning unit of the kitchen.
Cleanliness was good, although we did notice the toilet was not clean where the water comes out.
Hotel location was perfect for the area that we wanted to explore. Deal and St Margaret’s bay were within easy reach.
Room size was good and the food was excellent. All the staff were friendly and very helpful which added to the enjoyment of our visit.
Staff is very helpful and professional. Especially the manager, Michael, who went above and beyond our expectations to help us during our stay. The hotel is very clean and the bathrooms are very new and modern. The bed was very clean and comfortable.
The hotel was conveniently situated just out side Dover, with plenty of parking.
The food was very good both evening meal and breakfast.
The room was clean and had was just what we needed.
The staff were very friendly and helpful
Most unusual room with basins in the actual bedroom. Dinner in the restaurant in the evening was lovely. Nice location with lovely walk up into the hills right behind the hotel. Staff were all very friendly & helpful.
Lovely rooms, comfy beds, perfect location, great service with friendly staff who went above and beyond by making us all bacon Rolla when we had to leave super early and would therefore miss breakfast at the hotel.
The staff were brilliant, welcomg and incredibly helpful. The room was large and decorated to a very good standard. The breakfast offered by the hotel was very good also.
