We could not have breakfast - it starts from 8 am which was after our leaving hour… they refused to offer breakfast boxes or refund the breakfast fee. It is not normal to have breakfast starting at 8…. Rooms not clean and only one towel in the bathroom for a double bed room - not enough even for one - what about two persons…

Nothing to see. It is a cozy small town without any interesting place. The center has some bars which are open after 19:00 but are expensive and low quality. The unique place you may like is a big park clise to river.

We loved the proximity of the hotel to the old part of town. There was convenient parking which led 1) to Penny Kenny's Irish pub (v. friendly) which was across from a magnificent city park, complete with a grand gazebo; then 2) loads of beautiful shops; then 3) many sweet little narrow streets with cafés, atmosphere of genuine conviviality and terrace drinking. What a friendly town. All so close to the Novotel Valence Sud, where we stayed.

Valence is a lovely place to come and stay for a few days or a few weeks. The town has lots of great restaurants and the cafe scene is quite good. I did find the number of SDF people so homeless quite alarming. They were harmless but there were a lot. As soon as it gets dark, they don't seem to hang around. Valence is a great staging point for the Vercors mountains and as a stay over into the Ardeche. We come to Valence regularly and really like it. There are some great little artisan places particularly along the Rue Des Alpes just going out of town. Try the Vallon bakery and the Epicurieux coffee and beer place...just amazing.

If using Garmin gps, enter the hotel address manually rather than let Garmin choose the location Welcome was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was open and clean with N ex cellent menu. Parking is set ur. Rooms are air conditioned a d clean
Centrally located opposite Valence railway station, a small friendly hotel with bar/restaurant. Only a short walk into the old town and with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Lift to all floors. Quiet, clean room with TV and storage space. The en-suite bathroom was small but adequate and had a shower. Usual continental breakfast with cold items/croissants/bread etc
This hotel was in a very convenient location right next to the main train station. It was a very quiet hotel and the double glazing stopped all outside noise. Quality bed linen, towels and toiletries were provided. The air conditioning was quiet and extremely effective. The room was very clean and each day was refreshed with great attention to detail.
This was an emergency booking after a failed AirBNB and the room was huge, not big, huge! the location of the hotel is 5 minutes from the central train station and in the middle of the city, so everything is within walking distance. The parking garage of the hotel was full, but public parking around the corner was relatively cheap as well.
The hotel was clean and comfortable and location vie its on the outskirts but this was perfect for us as this was a half way stop between Monaco and Dunkirk. Also petrol stations and a very good bakery are minutes from the hotel, which was perfect as we didnt have breakfast at the hotel
The hotel has a friendly atmosphere and is warm and welcoming. Its easy from the mororway when travelling to Toulon or back to UK The breakfast is really good plenty of choice great homemade yoghurt.
The rooms felt clean and new, the location was perfect for us and the price was spot on. Breakfast was good, and we had a wonderful stay at a lovely little hotel.
We had a qudruple room. it was perfect for the whole family, extremely clean and confortable. We will use it again, in case we have to cross France by car again.
For this price it was great outcome. Big room and fine bed. Super attentive staff. Everything was clean and neat. Very good deal for those money in France.
