Location of this hotel was perfect, it was located on the edge of the water and had its own little shingle beach.
It was a short walk either along the coastal path/beach or the road into Lapad where the restaurants and bars were.
The bus stop was outside the hotel and the buses were so easy to use to get into Dubrovnik Town. We got the Dubrovnik Pass which gave us access to the city walls aswell as free use of the buses.
The view from our room was beautiful ( we were on the 3rd floor) and the room itself was a little dated but very clean. We had a balcony and could watch the sunset each evening .
Breakfast was buffet style and there was plenty of choice . We ate outside on the terrace and had views of the sea.
All members of staff were very polite and welcoming and the hotel was very clean.
I would definitely stay here again and have recommended it to friends.

Our first night (of the 3 nights) we had a large douvet. However, when the room was cleaned on day 2 it appeared to be changed to 2 single duvets which did not have any covers on them.

The hotel is amazing. Every thought has gone into the details to make your stay comfortable and stress free. This is a superb hotel, with high quality standards. The staff are so friendly and helpful, they couldn't do enough for us. Provided a lot of information and good tips about our location, bus service, and local places to eat. The beds are very good quality and comfortable indeed. Bathroom facilities bath and/or shower. Modern finishes. They even provide a little stool to reach the sink for the children .Large mounted TV with all the channels you could want and more.

A medieval beauty full of magnificence and glory, Dubrovnik is surrounded by white stone walls. Located on the Adriatic coast of Croatia, this masterpiece is one of the most promising tourist destinations.
Passing through the imposing stone gate of Pile Gate, you will find yourself immersed in history. Take a walk in the narrow streets of this charming city, enjoy a cup of coffee in one of the colourful cafés, or order fresh fish in one of the outdoor restaurants.
Surrounded by turquoise waters, Dubrovnik Old Town sights include the picturesque Stradun, Onofrio fountain and the Franciscan monastery.
The city’s cable car will take you up to Mount Srd from where you can savour panoramic views over the treasures of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Buses connect Dubrovnik Airport with the city centre, and Booking.com offers a variety of hotels, apartments, and guest houses throughout.
Lots to do in this place. You have the Old Town but if possible avoid mid June to end of August (hard if you work in a school) because the area is uncomfortably packed with massive crowds by all accounts. Lapad area is not far away and has everything you need including loads of eateries, lovely walks and general amenities. No. 6 bus takes you direct to Pile Gates in the Old Town. Cavtat is also on my list but sadly not on this visit. Boat trips aplenty to the Elaphiti Islands on a choice of sailing vessels.

I would recommend the boat trip to Lokrum island . The cable car trip was great with amazing views from mount srd.
I would stress that the whole are (apart from the old walled town) is quite hilly so pack your walking shoes.

Beautiful city escape.
Beautiful city escape. Wouldn’t need more than 5 days here unless exploring other parts of Croatia. Lokrum island was the highlight!!! Be wary of how busy it is in old town due to boats and boats of tourists but easy to escape.

It is charming but the old town is overly crowded.
It is charming but the old town is overly crowded. The cruise ship population swells the town by 5,000+ people most days. There are also a fair number of Northern European and American backpackers. The nearby islands were really nice and worth the trip. Boat trip to Lokrum was lovely. Sorry we missed the war museum there. Driving and boat trip to Korcula was lovely. Nearby wineries were lovely too. 35 Euros to walk the wall of the town seems high. It used to be free. The restaurants and shops seemed to be able to handle to crowds. Employees were prompt and polite. Seafood was very good. It's nice when the cruisers return to the ships and it quiets down. The airport was nice.

We were there only for 2 days which I think is too short now after knowing all the possibilities one and enjoy of they stay a bit longer. The most import City wall walk was amazing, excellent views and if you are a Game of thrones Fan and excellent opportunity to experience unreal history with great locations. I wanted to do sailing, which I missed. A visit to is Montenegro is possible as a day trip. I would certainly recommend truffle hunting if possible as Croatia is known for its truffle oils.
-Very Well 5 star hotel.
- The room is comfortable and big enough but the sea view from our room was not full because there is a garden in front of the room.
- The breakfast was excellent. You can find everything without paying extra, in the breakfast (even Prosecco and fresh orange juice)
- The location is easy to acces the old town. The bus number 6's first stop is in front of the hotel and you can reach old town in 15 minutes for 12 kuna (1,5 EUR)
- The beach is very well to swim and the open air pool's view was very good
The view was exceptional. I don’t think we’ve ever stayed somewhere with a more beautiful view! The kitchen was so well equipped. The family provides apartments with a clean modern design throughout each room. The family provided parking which is so rare in Dubrovnik. That alone is a luxury service! But besides all this, the owners helped us with our bags, asked what else we might need, gave a good description how to walk to the Old Town. They also helped guide us to the hotel when we were lost and tired. So kind.
We were in room 721. This room probably has the best view in the hotel. I booked it specifically for that reason. The view was worth the nearly $600 per night. Unobstructed view of old town with beautiful sunrise and sunset lighting. The location was perfect for short walk to the east end of old town. Buffet breakfast was sumptuous. Overall service was five star. As a world-class traveler, this is one of the favorite spaces we’ve ever occupied.
The room is nothing short of spectacular. It's bright, modern, and well equipped. Our hostess Erna greeted us on our way to the room and spent some time with us explaining about the room and Dubrovnik. She even provided coffee for us! She followed up regularly to see if we needed anything. Located in Old Town allowed us free access to the many sights of Dibrovnik. The shower is the best we've had in 4 weeks travels! 100% would stay again.
Location was great! It was located in Old town.
I could go to everywhere old town by walk. There were a great kitchen and sofas. Room were clean, wide and beautiful. When I could not find hotel for check-in, staff gave to me a so kind information a variety of ways.
It was very very nice hotel.
I was happy during staying in Dubrovnik.
If I stay to Dubrovnik, I will choose this Misko apartment.
Rooms are comfy, balcony is large with perfect views. Wifi is decent in the rooms.
Staff is very welcoming and nice, always there to give assistance and answer questions.
Bus stop across the Hotel is a great advantage making it easy to get to and from Lapad or Old Town.
Lapad is walking distance with great food options.
Pools and private beach - 10/10.
Sunset views - best in the city :)
Everything! We spent 4 wonderful days at the Grand Villa Argentina. We were celebrating our anniversary and the hotel welcomed us with a nice bottle of Prosecco. The room with balcony was a dream, overlooking the Adriatic and Dubrovnik old town. The pool with immediate access to the sea was unforgettable. Staff very professional and cordial. Everything was excellent.
The Art Hotel is in a fantastic location on the Promenade in Lapad, about 10 minutes from the old town of Dubrovnik. There are fantastic restaurants, views, a beach, water access and cafe's in the area and it's much quieter. The staff was very kind, responsive providing restaurant recommendations, new pillow options, etc.
It is very afordable, location is great. There are many buses you can take from location of hotel to the old town. If you are planning to go to.other places around the Dubrovnik, this is a great place to catch a bus, taxi or to go from with your own ride. Easy to find and easy to go around.
Great 5 star experience! Would totally visit again.
Polite stuff that are trying their best to make your stay unforgettable and the premises are just a tad away from the buzz of the old town, super clean with great amenities. Don’t look away, this should be your Dubrovnik hotel.
Awesome Location. Super hotel, service. Great with the direct access to the ocean for a swim, nice spa and not at least the short 7-8 mins walk into Dubrovnik Old town. We also loved the view from the terrace and breakfast area over the ocean and to the town.
Νew and very clean hotel! Its location is excellent—right by the sea, and only about 15 minutes by Uber from the Old Town of Dubrovnik. Staying here proved to be better than staying in Dubrovnik Old Town, as it was calm and relaxing with beautiful views.
Nice hotel on a beach, not very fancy, but peasant. Good public bus connections to Dubrovnik old town. Good breakfast at the beautiful terrace over the sea. Pleasant terrace of the caffe with a sea view.
I had a room with balcony and sea view. :-)
lovely little flat it has everything you’d need for a short stay. we had a really good time in Dubrovnik and the owner is super welcoming, friendly and gives lots of very helpful and pragmatic advice to enjoy the best the old town has to offer
Best view of old town Dubrovnik. Amazing sunsets and sunrises. You can tell that the apartment has the best quality on construction materials and finishes. Good taste on the decoration, simple, modern, with a touch of class and love.
We absolutely loved Villa Dubrovnik! Fabulous contemporary boutique 5 star hotel, exceptional staff & service, beautiful pool and sea area & the most wonderful food in all the restaurants.
Obviously, it is no fancy 5 star-hotel but absolutely perfect for a short stay in Dubrovnik. It is small but very clean and well organized. The host is extremely friendly and welcoming!
